Why are we all obsessed with butts?
I’m sitting here contemplating this thought after my almost 3-year-old daughter got in trouble at school yesterday for mooning the teacher when she was asked to do something she didn’t want to do. facepalm as I’m trying to hold back a laugh
But it is true, we are all obsessed with butts. Whether as a form of comedy or physical attraction. But if butts are so important to us, why don’t we take care of them?
Our butts do a lot for us. They give us a nice cushion when we sit, they stabilize our hips as we walk/run, they are fun to laugh at and they (hopefully) attract attention from admirers. So shouldn’t we give them more attention ourselves?
I know, I know…We at PNPT are obsessed with glutes, but for a good reason. They are one of the major supporters of our hips and backs during our pregnancy and strengthening them can help you carry, deliver and raise your baby with less pain and fewer complications.
Just some musings as I try to figure out how to teach my 3 year old the proper time and place for butt jokes, because really, they are pretty funny.
